Merry X'Mas!

Friday, December 23, 2005

Yesterday was dope. Brought Manoj to the gym together with Ben. Haha Manoj loved it. Hopefully he'll join la. Then there'll be 3 gym kakis including myself. So I won't give an excuse not to go to the gym already. Anyways, we joined the cycle class and it was friggin' exhausting. My calves cramped 3 times but I kept going. Love the pain by the way... Yea, SIAO. Then we had Carl's Jr at Suntec. THE BUGERS WERE HUGE MAN haha.... My next favourite fast food joint, Carl's Jr. Then headed down to C.E. (for those who dont know, it's Candy Empire) to get ma baby's sweeties and chocz. Off to "Shee-sha" at Arab street after C.E.! My first experience and it was.... spectacular. Feels like smoking, but only without the harmful effects nor putrid smell. The whole place smelled of candy floss. I ordered the rose one while Ben & Manoj tried the mixed fruit. It was an experience man. And I sure wouldn't mind going back! The place has the greatest mood and ambience anyone would love to chill to. Smoking sheesha and drinking mint tea. That's the life man...

So we left! And home it was. What a wonderful day well spent :)

Enjoy da partay dear. [;joy.

JJ.
The insecurities are creeping up the walls of my ego. Or am I ego-less. I don't know. What is wrong with me! Or perhaps it is the stress? Mid terms in less than 2 weeks & driving test in 3 weeks. 3 term papers, 1 practical. And now, I'm still in a shit load of tutorials that I have to complete, and a messed up Engineering Math chapter that I must understand. Pressure is building, tensions are rising.

The sudden thought of "Bamboo" entered. Bamboo stalks never break regardless of their height or width, because they bend with the wind. Hrmmm... How the fuck am I gonna bend with the DAMN pressure ah? I must pass my MSTs, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, pass my DRIVERS' TEST!!!

And, I'm still waiting for someone to blog about the CHIANGMAI trip.

INSECURITIES + TERM PRESSURE + DRIVERS' LICENSE WORRY = CHAOS

Yours truly but with much worries,
JJ
Caught SAW II last evening, and it was damn BLOODY good. Pun intended. Go catch it at any cinema near you! They should've made the movie M-18, the gore was awesome and the plot, though not as brilliant as the first, was still as intriguing. So go on! You've got my recommendation, so go watch it. Anyways, going out with my homies yesterday was also way cool, chilling at Starbucks, walking around town. That's the life man. Good friends, great gurlfriend, nice life, I'm really happy with what I already have. Thank you, whoever is up there reading this. :]

Well, we're back from Chiang Mai! Okay la, we got back on Sunday night and i was lazy to blog. Whoops. Anyways, this post will be aabout the trip to Chiang Mai.

Day 1: Changi Airport
Due to some miscommunications, i had to rush to the airport. Upon arriving the airport, all of them finished eating, so i could not be bothered to eat. After seating for awhile, we procceded to check in. It was really frustrating as we had to queue for quite awhile as the counters werent open. As we were travelling in a big group, we had to wait awhile. When it got to our turn, the person behind the counter told us that our flight was delayed. Time check: Flight was supposed to be at 4.45pm, flight got delayed to 6:35pm. By that time, we were tired from all the lining up and everything. After checking our bags in, we went to Macs. I then ate as i havent eaten for the whole day. After eating, we then walked around and Mayyin bought Paris Hilton's parfum. Its very sweet smelling though i preferred the other fragance.

At about 5:55pm we procceded to the gate to wait to get into the plane. Due to our horror, BUDGET airlines, TIGER AIRWAYS was free seating. So that means that we had to queue up again. Wonderful, perfect, marvellous. Flight was suppose to be at 6:35pm, but we did not get in till about 6:45pm. Poor service budget airlines has. I shall not talk bout the flight there. But it was horrible.

Upon arriving at Chiang Mai, we were greeted by the tour guides. We were each given a garland of sweet smelling Jasmine flowers. We proceeded to go up to the bus where i realised that i did not have roaming. :( We were staying at Suriwongse Hotel which was maybe a ten minute drive from the airport. We then checked into our room which i was sharing with Mayyin and Nicole. After getting our luggages, we proceeded to look for food as we were all hungry. We followed baby's aunty as baby's mum was busy planning the schedule for the whole trip. Btw, just infront of our hotel is the Night Market. HAHAHA. And not to mention Starbucks, Haagen Daz and Macdonalds was just a stone's throw away. We finally settled for Macdonalds yet again. After eating, we then had a brief walk around the Night Market. We went back to hotel to rest as we had a long day ahead.

Day 2: Chiang Mai's Orchid Farm and Long Neck Tribe
We left the hotel quite early. As the tribe was in the mountains and it was a 4 hour drive i think. The orchid farm was nice. We took alot of Photos. But the drive to the long neck tribe was very longgggg and there was alot of turning and all the sharp bends made two people puke. lol. It has always been my dream to see the women who put the rings around their necks. And here i was, able to take pictures with them. However they came with a price. We had to buy something. I bought my mommy a portrait of a Long Neck woman.

Day 3:Central Airport Shopping Center, Central shopping
Well, today is free and easy. We headed to the malls with full of aniticipation. Upon reaching the mall, Baby's mum realised that it was the wrong mall. While we were shopping for bras, baby's mum did not give up on finding the correct mall. Her perseverence paid off and she finally found the mall she intended to go to. The tour guide then arranged for mini vans to bring us to the mall. Mayyin and me were utterly dissapointed with the mall as it was like Lucky plaza but only in Thailand. So yeaH, did not buy anything from there. Upon leaving the mall, i finally saw fried insects! It was sick! We then took a tuk tuk back to the hotel. HIP AH! So my purchases of the daY was two bras! We had our dinner at the restaurant in the hotel as we were awaiting the arrival of baby and the staff.

After baby arrived, he filled his tummy with food and we proccedded to the night market where i brought him around! After that, we headed back to the hotel to get some rest as tmr would be a long day.

Day 4: Elephant Show, Temple, KhanToke dinner, Simone Aqua Show
We headed out bright and early to the Elephant place. My goodness, the smell of that place was horrendous. Baby and me sat on one elephant. The ride was sscary as the elephants were maDE to walk up and down hills which are all muddy and filled with elephant poo. I was holding baby oh so tightly as the elephant travelled uphill and we were almost falling off the damn thing la. And annoying baby kept taking pictures and video with my phone. I was freaking scared that he would dropp it..But overall, it was fun!

We had lunch at some hotel which we then procceded to the Temple on the Mountain. We had to remove our shoes and boy did the place where shoes were kept stank! We then walked around the temple where the Buddhist went to offer their prayers. We then took photos of the breath taking scenery. Will post photos up when i get themmmmm.

After the Temple we went to a few places like the Diamond factory but the designs were really old. So we left there like super fast. We went back to the hotel to have a rest but we chionged the night market.

Day 5: Last Minute Shopping and SIngapore.
Well, today was the last of our trip. We thought we could sleep in, but we couldnt. After breakfast, we went for last minute shopping which we stopped at this small shopping mall where things sold there were mainly sports stuff and jeans. Well, adidas there was much cheaper than here hence everybody bought loads of clothes. There was puma, le coq sportif and all the brands that are in Royal Sporting house in singapore. So mainly, that was like a Royal sporting house Chiang Mai. Wanted to buy Puma shoes, but it was more expensive there. So decided not to. After getting our sports stuff, which i bought a le coq sportiff cap, adidas shorts and adidas polo, we headed up to look at jeans. Lo and behold, the LEVIS were so much cheaper. Each pair cost bout S$60? haha. Baby, in need of jeans bought two pairs! We then left as we had to pack all our other stuff.

We left for the Airport in a big coach. The tour guides were so nice. Everyone had a little cute keychain. Upon reachign the airport, we thought we could check in straight away, but we wrong. we had to queue up for some time and we could not check in right away. Finally the counters opened and we checked in. After checking in, we went to this Thai airways restaurant where we head like dinner. All of us ordered Tom Yum GOong. It was good. But we could not enjoy it as we had to rush to queue up for the plane. Oh yeah, while eating. There was this group of people whom we assumed to be Japanese but they turned out to be Thai singers. They looked really gay though. HAHAAAAAAAAAAAA. LADY BOY! Bahh.

We rushed to the gate, we were horrified by the length of the queue but we still queued. We finally got into the plane. Baby sat beside me. We ordered food and ate.

Arrived in Singapore at bout 10 minutes to 12. Mummy came to pick me up. Said our goodbyes and thanks and i left the whole group. Got home and unpacked and slept.

THATS ALL FOLKS. :)

Oh, during the time baby was there, everynight he made sure i was in bed before heading down to his to sleep. So sweet right? hmmmm.......

Back in Singapore! Touched down at 11pm last night. And this is what I have to say

"I MISS CHIANGMAI !!!" The weather, the bargains, the foods, the culture, the polite citizens, the busy roads but yet courteous drivers etc.. Most importantly, the weather there! Hell! Why can't Singapore have that kinda weather? Cool but not too cold. But anyways, being back here in Singapore isn't that bad a thing either. I can continue having my Hainanese Chicken rice, something that Chiangmai doesn't has and is what I am having for lunch right this moment as I type this. Still..... I MISS CHIANGMAI! And I bet those who went certainly miss that bloo- I mean DAM- country too. I KNOW YOU DO.

I miss my turntables haha... Time to go cuddle them and caress them after lunch. Ciao homieZ.

Cya and may God bless us all.

Be good homiez and I promise I'll try to bring gum back home for ya'll to chew on and blow some bubblez.

Never knew you felt this way. Bottled-up. Don't be me. I can deal with my own problems in my own way, because I'm used to it this way. But you can't. No matter how much you feel that it's gonna be okay, you still have to tell me. I don't mean to be one huge nosey busybody, but I'm your guy. Your listening ear, your comforting soul. Not me, then who? Don't be all welled up anymore. Tell me what you truly feel, 'cause you aren't alone in this world. You've got me, and I've got you.

We've got friends all around us. Strangers to befriend and a whole world to explore. I'm sure you're just nervous about the trip this Wednesday when you're gonna be flying off alone without me by your side along with my parents. Don't worry! They won't bite, I can assure you that.

Quit worrying!

Goona get some pullovers and a pair of cheap soccer shoes. Court shoes, not turf/field boots. Lovin' my mitre Calcio ball. Bright orange is da way to go!

-----------------------

About 1 month more to my TP at CDC. Just had my circuit practise and I must say I'm not at all that confident. Perhaps I should just accept the fact that I'm gonna fail and embrace that thought in order for myself not to worry so much or even get nervous. I'm not even this worried or nervous in battles. Damn it. I must have my license. May God bless me.

And so, the story goes on to the other chapters.... The blank pages of the novel waiting to be filled by verses of life experiences.

My little bird will not be flying away. And it should be time that she be tied to her cage and locked away.

Every story has it's beginning, and every novel has it's ending. The prologue, and the epilogue. I dare not say which part of the story mine is at. To me, it all seems to much of a prologue still. My, how time flies. The moments of two and a half years. I hate to even have the thought of you leaving one day. So much to go through yet, but to know even if we have the chance to carry on now, is vague.

Though all along, the thought of you returning to your motherland, has always been least thought about, but still resides at the back of my head. The worry. The heartfall, in my terms. I hate to see you leave. I don't want to say goodbye. I don't want to see you through a glass panel, watching you walk towards the point of no return. To the country of Maples. Even right now, as I type this, the mere mind pictures of you walking off, is painful enough to break me.

The times we shared, the love we have. O God, I do pray that this little bird of mine won't fly away. Will my prologue also be the epilogue? The beginning of the end? No author writes novels nor stories this way. Noone. Except the author of life. Who is indefinitely an entity that is impossible to predict. I didn't predict this, I couldn't. My mind's slurred. My vision is blurred. I can't think straight except for the thought of prayers to keep you by my side.

Please God, I pray. Don't let this little bird of mine fly away. This fate, I will not surrender to. I know you're listening, I know you read. And I know you feel me O Lord.

I don't want this story to end here. I want it to carry on, till forever. Till you claim our souls. Till our body turns to ashes. If anyone reads this, please pray. Pray that my little bird won't fly away. She's my little bird, that I care for, tend to, and grown to love with all my soul and heart.

Thank you. Thank you all. And thank you God, for letting my little bird fly straight into my life.

Come what may, I will love you till forver. Forever.

Sincerely yours and loving you always,
JJ.

Blogged by:TIARA.

Hmm, been a while since i made a PROPER post aye? Time to start blogging again!

Today, was spent with baby and his family. Met them at Parkway's Topshop as i couldnt get ready in time to meet them in town. So i took a cab down to Parkway as baby claimed his mom kept asking for me and not to mention that he kept rushing me by calling me. So after i got to Parkway, i headed for Topman as they were there paying. After paying, we went back to Topshop as his sister wanted to shopp. She got the veryy sexxy vest. I tried on a top that i really liked, but lets just say that im not that big at that region hence decided not to waste $66.

We left Topshop to head on to Dorothy Perkins for his mommy's turn to shop. We left awhile later as nothing caught her eye. We then headed on to Novo. Nothing nice there and we were outtt. After Novo, we went over to M)phosis where we saw..... ADEL. Lol, turns out that she's working there part time, shld be saving up for shopping in Hokkaido. Do enjoy your trip there alright babe? Catch up soon when you coem back!

After all that shopping, we headed down to Swensens to have lunch and ice-cream. Lunch was yummy for all of us. After lunch was trip back to baby's, where we just slacked. At bout 7-ish we left home to head over to Mel's Place. Food was okay, Ambience, was very nice but service.... not that good. :) Baby is in love with Aglio Olio. HaHa... and i tried escargot for the first time. After we finished eating, it started to drizzle, we went to the covered area to finish our drinks. We then leftt and headed to Caltex. Baby's mom then drove me homee.

Oh yeah, it was such a coincidence that baby and me wore the same colour today. Lol. Almost the same shade somemore.. Sighh, i miss my daddy! :( I'm actually worried for him. hmm..

Cheers, Tiara.
i dont like the new old skool skin! hahaha.

But if my baby likes it, then so do i. :)

Told ya i'll update it tonight!

Anyone knows where to get laptops which is payable by installments?

Plz let john ji or me know on msn. Thank you. :)

Thursday, December 01, 2005

There ya go :)

Plain and simple. I like it like that.

JJ.
I'm thinking of changing the skin to something a little less "childish"? Preferably something plain like those you see in the basic blogger type. Hrmm should the tagboard be removed since it's "dead" as some sweetie claimed it to be. Well... I guess I should. But I'm darn lazy to even search for a skin. LOL.

JJ.
